Doctor

John D. Burress, D.O.

Dr. Burress was born in Winter Park, Florida and is a third-generation Central Floridian. He attended the University of Central Florida where he obtained simultaneous double degrees in biology and psychology while working for a neuropsychologist doing clinical bio- and neurofeedback treatments. After graduation, he attended Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in North Miami Beach. He completed a rotating internship at Suncoast Hospital in Largo, Florida, and then a residency in Family Medicine at Florida Hospital East Orlando, which included training at both Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic. Subsequently, he became double board-certified in Family Medicine and Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. He is currently pursuing a third board certification in Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine. Instruction/Trainer Medical director for Lady Lake Family Medicine, Physicians Vein Care and Re-New! Regenerative Medicine Physician Trainer in Cellular and Regenerative Medicine with the Ellison Regenerative Group Physician, Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant training site for Nova Southeastern University and Frontier University

Jane Johansson

Jane Johansson, BA, MSN, APRN-BC grew up in Cinnaminson, NJ, then her family moved to the rural town of New Hartford, Ct. She attended the University of Connecticut, graduated Magna Cum Laude and was elected to the national honor society Phi Beta Kappa with a BA degree in communications/journalism in 1985. Several years later she attended St. Mary's School of Nursing in Waterbury, Ct and earned her RN certification in 1994 and worked in acute care for 18 yrs. Jane then returned to the University of Connecticut and earned a master's degree in nursing and sat for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Acute Care adult/geriatric board certification exam in 2012, which has been renewed every 5 years. Jane continues her passion for knowledge and up to date medical information by completing over 400 hours of continuing medical education every 5 years. Jane has worked in medical oncology/hematology at Yale New Haven Hospital/Smilow Cancer Hospital in Ct. and Florida Cancer Specialists in Lady Lake, Fl. Jane has additional APRN experience in internal medicine, Geriatrics and pain management, all to better serve our patients.
